Two models, one budget, and every review you find refuses to choose. This site chooses. We put one against the other, say which one we would take home, and then keep going past the buying into what it is like to keep.

What you get here

• G Ragu Review has been running since 2008 and is still publishing. More than 500 articles are here to search.
• A comparison here ends with a name, not a shrug. We say which one, and we say what we gave up by choosing it. Advertising and sponsored placement pay for the site, and paid links are labelled. Choosing a winner is the whole point of the page, so it is not for sale.
• The questions carry on long after the delivery van has gone. Which of these two, for this room. Will this panel still look right in year four. Why does my television keep showing me adverts I did not ask for.
• We commit to an answer. Being wrong in public is better than the careful sort of writing that never says anything at all.
• Follow along and the shortlist gets shorter without you reading twenty tabs, because somebody has already sat with both of them and written down which one they would keep. You get your evening back.

How we work

Two things go side by side, in the same room, on the same evening. Then one of them wins. We say which one, and we say what it was worse at in the same paragraph, because a comparison that hides the trade-off is not a comparison.

A review that will not pick one is just a longer way of saying you decide.
