For a quick summary, I had a freaking accident on my Ford EcoSport car and was evaluating the options, whether to opt accidental repair from authorized service center or through third-party service centers. • Accelerated Delivery and prompt response: I had communication with the Ford’s authorized service advisor over the phone and double checked on the final quote before handing it over the driver for taking it to repair. Post receiving the car, the work was started immediately and in the very next day, when I was checking about the status of the repair, I was shared with the initial repair work pictures and promised delivery for commitment date.
• Paint Quality and factory finish perfection: The car was delivered to me on the promised date, and I was very excited to check out the repair work. To my surprise, the repair work was too good with the factory fitted output quality and the paint work was also too good that there was no differentiation between the original and re-painted color in the car. Even though Ford has decided to exit the sales operations in India, the service quality was extremely good, and the most surprising factor was that the quote was too good that the third-party vendor quote was put to shame. Escape from rains and back to native

While I was packing my bags to escape from Chennai rains I heard someone ringing my doorbell and was sheet shocked to see that person at my door step. It was none other than my office colleague who has travelled from a long distance to check about my situation at my apartment. I felt refreshing and told him that I was planning to drive through the knee deep water to get out from Chennai and he said he would be with me guiding me in the water and if possible would join me in the drive. So, now I had enough confidence to drive in the water and took my car out of my apartment and drove the car into water. However, the drive was not as complicated as I thought and it was smoother as drove out of water within few seconds. After 3 days of struggle I was able to finally sense of freedom and to enjoy it, my colleague joins with me for the drive to my native. Deep sea treasure hunters have located two potentially valuable wrecks lying off the west coast of Ireland, opening the way for a legal battle over who owns treasure deposited on the seabed in International waters. Shipwreck Company Odyssey Marine has filled claims on two wreck sites found after months of scouring the seabed in and around the English Channel with what it said was advanced new search equipment. The sites lie under between 400 and 600 meters of water about 100 miles to the west of Dingle, Co Kerry. The Florida-based company said the sites, which are 37 miles apart, appeared to contain the remains of steel-hulled vessels.

Australia's outback Simpson Desert will be closed for the first time this summer to prevent visitors from dying in the extreme heat, officials said. The Simpson Desert Conservation Park and Regional Reserve in South Australia will be off limits from December 1 to March 15 each year, beginning next month, the South Australian Department for Environment and Heritage said. Temperatures in the Simpson Desert during summer are extreme, with daytime temperatures of between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius common. An official of the department, Trevor Naismith, said: "Most People that cross the desert during summer are from overseas, and many do not have the driving experience for such a crossing, or a properly equipped vehicle with radio communications and recovery gear in case of an emergency." He said that during summer sand dunes were soft and constantly changing shapes, increasing the chance of vehicle becoming bogged down, while there was a greater risk of vehicle breakdown during the hotter months. "At a time when there are very few vehicles in the desert to provide assistance in a timely manner, this is potentially a fatal situation, especially for the inexperienced, ill-prepared visitor", he said.

The Titanic disaster, that claimed over 1,500 lives 96 years back, could have been averted if its radio operator had not been rude, a new documentary claims. According to the documentary, the 25-year-old radio operator, Jack Phillips, had a row with his counterpart on the nearest ship who tried to warn him of ice in the area on April 14, 1912. In fact, Phillips, who had a backlog of greeting messages to send for the luxury liner's passengers, told Cyril Evans of the SS California: "Shut up," The Sun reported. An angry Evans reacted by switching off his radio equipment just ten minutes before the Titanic hit an iceberg on her maiden voyage to New York. So SS California, just 20 miles away, didn't get the doomed ship's SOS and 1,523 people, including Phillips, died in the disaster early on 15 April 1912, the documentary to be aired in Channel 4 has claimed. The Titanic hit an iceberg during her maiden voyage on the night of 14 April 1912, and sank two hours and 40 minutes later. At the time of her launching, she was the largest passenger steamship in the world. The sinking of the Titanic, which used some of the most advanced technology available at the time, is considered the deadliest peacetime maritime disaster in history.
