Frustrated with my Manager for not supporting me

It has been long time since I have spoken about my work and the day-to-day activities that happen at my office. So, I would like to take this opportunity to detail some interesting tidbits that happened to me at my office. Unfortunately, after long time, the entire team got pulled into a large opportunity to work and to my bad luck, my manager was also requested to support this request. Here comes the frustrating part of working with my manager, the Offshore delivery lead was making lousy comment, even before starting work on the large opportunity. I was pulled into the discussion into last minute and with no insights available, I was just listening the conversations happening on the opportunity. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the offshore delivery lead assigned for this opportunity to support, made a comment that he was looking some senior lead to support and do not want support from Team members like me. After this comment, I was expecting my manger to defend the team and give it back to the delivery lead for such comments, when everyone was around. However, my manger was blessing with him and was conveying that he himself will be available to support. What is the role of Functional Group in the IT world?

Functional group in the IT world is nothing but the team of experts, who take care of addressing functional requirements from the business and ensure the functionalities are working in enterprise platform. The functional group or project-operating group is aligned towards the functional subgroups of the project. The typical role and ownership of the functional group are detailed as follows

• Prepare work plan for the functional area and help PMG integrate the overall project work plan 

• Assign tasks to the project team in line with the work plan and review progress 

• Coordinates the technical and functional aspects of the project on a day-to-day basis 

• Ensure the solution built in the functional area is coordinated with the solutions built in other functional areas 

• Periodically updates the project management office/business owner group of the status of the project progress in the functional area

The zombie apocalypse will still happen?

The Covid-19 virus can mutate under the influence of the chimpanzee adenovirus. In other words, doctors may face a new, unexplored and extremely dangerous phenomenon, which modern medicine will not be able to fight against – such data was given by virologists in the United States and Spain.

When a common flu strain mutated under the influence of external factors into a real unmanageable monster, says James Kenwood, a virologist of the Minigan Institute of Bacteriology.

⁃ Now the situation can be repeated if we influence it with a vaccine produced, let’s say, following a questionable technology. We have no clear evidence that the interaction of, for example, chimpanzee adenovirus and COVID-19 will not mutate and amplify the virus. Therefore, mixing viruses with each other is the last thing you need to do now, -says a virologist.
